----this is a genuine CB750 sandcast motorcycle. The chassis and engine numbers are the very next bike off the assembly line from the one in the AMA museum (10 years ago). The bike has the extremely rare original exhaust pipes (with no part numbers) but they have dings and scrapes from the crash. The pipes are rust-free except for minor surface rust. I expect they will have to have the chrome stripped, dents pulled and be re-plated. I bought this bike with a trashed front end. The forks, sliders and fenders are off a 1970 CB750 K1. The motor started and ran very strong- the factory installed a hot cam and hand-ported the heads on these early machines. Engine kicks over smoothly with strong compression, but the carbs are gummed up. It has been sitting for eight years waiting for me to get around to restoring it, but I just don't have the time- too many projects. The bike comes with many factory NOS parts including a new speedometer, new tachometer, new 4-1 throttle cable, new foot peg rubbers, new handlebar switches, new handlebar grips, new H/L shell in proper color, new fuel tank in proper color, new air filter box in proper color, new fork seals, new chain guard and mount, really nice repro seat cover and strap, master cylinder rebuild kit, spare front wheel, some misc badges, new brake hose and union cover and some washers.;;;
