Sho-Bud mid-'70s single-channel amp in near-new condition in Round Rock, TX

$650 Sho-Bud mid-'70s single-channel amp in near-new condition

Mid '70s, in original, nearly-showroom condition. The exceptions are:1. A very small nick in the tolex on the top, near the back. This can easily be glued down.2. The back of the speaker has a few marks but as far as I know is the original speaker that came in the amp.3. The power cord is fraying and should be replaced. These amps came with a two-prong plug and should be replaced with a three-prong variety along with the power cord. The pictures should show all the above issues.I bought this amp in 1977 and it wasn't loud enough for the bands I was playing (steel guitar) with. My dad liked it and I sold it to him a month or so later. He played it mostly at the house and as he did with everything he owned, took very good care of it.For steel guitar, this is most likely a better recording amp than a gig amp although it would be good for a band that plays at a reasonable volume. For fiddle or guitar it makes a good gig amp.If you are in the area you are welcome to come by and play it. I am trying Craigslist first because I'd prefer not to ship it. But if you really want it I would consider shipping it -- but only with insurance.
